To erase one track at a time

You can erase one track at a time.

During playback of the track to be erased,

move the M button toward to pause it.

Press the M button.

The unit enters the menu select mode.

or to select "E(EDIT)"

 

 

and press it.

 

 

 

 

 

4 Move the M button toward or to select "E(ERASE)" and press it.

5 Press the M button.

The track will be erased.

6 To erase other tracks, repeat steps 1 - 5.

Caution:

Once a track has been erased, it cannot be recov- ered. Check the track number before erasing it.

Note:

When all the tracks in a group have been erased, the group and the group name will also be erased.

To erase all of the tracks at once

You can erase all tracks at once.

1 Whilst in the stop mode, press the M button. The unit enters the menu select mode.

2 Move the M button toward

or to select "E(EDIT)" and press it.

3 Move the M button toward or to select "A(ALL ERASE)" and press it.

4 Press the M button.

All of the tracks will be erased.

Caution:

Once a track has been erased, it cannot be recov- ered. Check the track number before erasing it.

zComplete the operation within 25 seconds whilst se- lecting the menus.

zIf you press the CLEAR button during the operation, the previous display appears.

zTo cancel the operation, move the M button toward
