Audio adjustment

You can adjust the audio of the selected AV mode.

1Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

2Press c/d to select “Audio”.

Audio Power Control

DYNAMIC

Treble	[	0]	–15	+15
Bass	[	0]	–15	+15
Balance	[	0]	L	R
Surround				[Off]
Bass Enhancer				[Off]
Reset

3Press a/b to select the desired menu item. Press ENTER to proceed if necessary.

4Press a/b or c/d to select the desired item or adjust the item to the desired level. Press ENTER if necessary.

Bass	For weaker bass	For stronger bass
Balance	Decrease audio from	Decrease audio
	the right speaker	from the left speaker

NOTE

•For resetting all adjustment items to the factory preset values, press a/b to select “Reset”, press ENTER, press c/d to select “Yes”, and then press ENTER.

wSurround

You can enjoy SRS TruSurround XT sound, the same as if you were in a movie theatre.

w Bass Enhancer

This function allows you to enjoy bass-enhanced sound.

1Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

2Press c/d to select “Audio”.

3Press a/b to select “Bass Enhancer”, and then press ENTER.

4Press c/d to select “On” or “Off”, and then press ENTER.

NOTE

•The “Audio” menu is grayed out when Output Volume Select is set to “Variable”.

Output Volume Select

Allows you to select what controls the audio output.

1Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

2Press c/d to select “Option”.

3Press a/b to select “Output Volume Select”, and then press ENTER.

4Press c/d to select “Fixed” or “Variable”, and then press ENTER.

Fixed Variable

1Repeat steps 1 to 2 in Audio adjustment.

2Press a/b to select “Surround”, and then press ENTER.

3Press c/d to select “On”.

Selected item	Description
On	SRS TruSurround XT creates a high
	quality surround sound experience,
	when watching DVD movies and TV
	programmes broadcast in surround
	sound.
Off	Outputs the normal sound.

Selected item	Description
Fixed	• Sound via speakers/headphone is
	adjusted with VOL e/f on the remote
	control unit or the TV.
	• Sound via the MONITOR OUTPUT
	terminal is not adjustable and constantly
	outputs.
Variable	• Sound via the MONITOR OUTPUT
	terminal is adjusted with VOL e/f on
	the remote control unit or the TV.
	• Sound via speakers is muted.

NOTE

•The “Audio” menu cannot be operated when headphones are plugged in.
