Recording from an external device

When connecting to the L2 input terminals on the front of the unit

You can also connect to the L1 input terminals on the rear of the unit.

Before connecting any cables, first make sure that the power for both units is off. Then, after connecting cables, turn on both units.

Note

When recording using this unit’s input terminals, only the sound received at the time of recording will be recorded. As long as secondary audio that is recorded on the media in the external device is not output to the unit in play, it is not recorded.

If the audio output of the other equipment is monaural, connect to L/ MONO. (Both left and right channels are recorded when connected

through L/MONO.)

The S-VIDEO terminal achieves a more vivid picture than the VIDEO terminal.
