9.4.2 Picture Quality Adjustment

NOTE: This control is effective only during playback.

This control lets you adjust the playback picture so the output is sharper or softer.

NOTES:

Horizontal vibration cannot be corrected with the POSITION/ VERTICAL ADJUST buttons.

To return vertical adjustment to its initial setting, press the PO-

SITION/VERTICAL ADJUST buttons at the same time during still playback.

9.4.3 Vertical Adjustment

Do the following to reduce or eliminate picture vibration at the top and bottom.

If the vibration occurs in still, slow motion, or fast playback, press the POSI- TION/VERTICAL ADJUST buttons (+ or -).

If the vibration occurs in all playback modes, play a self-recorded 6H tape and press the PAUSE button. Press the POSITION/VERTICAL ADJUST buttons.
