„Connecting devices to the OUT terminal

The signals of the images and sound you are currently viewing with this TV are output through the OUT terminal. By connecting a VCR to the OUT terminal, you can record the currently shown image and sound to that VCR. To do this, connect the VCR and OUT terminal following the steps below.

1Connect the VIDEO in the OUT terminals and the VCR’s VIDEO IN (video input) terminal with a video cable

2Connect the AUDIO (L and R) in the OUT terminals and the VCR’s AUDIO IN (audio L/R input) terminals with an audio cable

When you turn off the TV, the signals from the OUT terminal are also turned off.

No signal is output when VIDEO-4 is chosen.

„Connecting headphones

Connect the headphones with a stereo mini-jack (of 3.5 mm in diameter) to the headphone jack at the receiver.

The headphone volume is adjusted with the “HEADPHONE” menu (see page 25).

„Connecting Speakers/Amplifier

See the Audio equipment connection diagram, then connect the audio equipment you desire to the TV.

You can use external front speakers to listen to the TV sound instead of the TV speakers.

Before connecting anything:

Read the manuals provided with the amplifier and speakers.

Turn the TV and amplifier off.

To prevent magnetism from the speakers adversely affecting the TV screen, use magnetically-shielded speakers for the front speakers.

Note that connecting cables are not supplied.
