PARENTAL CONTROL

2.TV RATING

The parental controls feature prevents viewers from watching programs that are not age-appropriate, such as programs containing violence or adult language. The factury default access code is 0000. Just use remote control keyin the number to enter the parental controls sub-menu.

When enter the parental controls sub-menu. It will display the OSD as below:

1.MPAA RATING

U -> Unblock , B -> Block

Use ▲▼to select which rating you want to block or

unblock, then press ENTER to block or unblock the current rating level.

G → General audience

PG → Parental guidance suggested

PG-13 → Recommended for children 13 yearsof age and later

R → Mature audience

NC-17 → No one under 17 years of age

X → No one under 17 years of age.

U -> Unblock , B -> Block

♦TV-Y → For all children.

♦TV-Y7 → For children of age 7 and above. FV means the program may include mild violence.

♦TV-G → For general audience. But most parents do not approve it for small children. program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger children.

♦TV-PG → Guodamce siggested.

♦TV-14 → Unsuitable for children under 14 year of age.

♦TV-MA → Mature Audience Only, unsuitable for children under 17.

TV-PG / TV-14 / TV-MA are further rated based on categories:

V → Some violent scenes S → Some sex scenes

L → Some obscene, adult language D → Some luring sexual dialogues

3.UNRATED ALLOWED

Decide if block the signal from the channel that does not contain rating information.

YES → No, view the program

NO → Block the channel

4.CHANGE ACCESS CODE

Change and set up new Parental Control password. Enter the 4 new digits and the set up will automatically proceed to the next line - CONFIRM ACCESS CODE

5.CONFIRM ACCESS CODE

Enter the 4 digits typed during CHANGE ACCESS CODE, press OK to confirm and the change is completed.
