Playback Unit

1Turn on the DVC.

2Make the Time code appear on the LCD monitor or the viewfinder.

3Prepare the tape for playback.

Recording Unit

1Turn on the VCR.

2Set Edit Mode to RECORDER.

3Set Edit Terminal to EDIT.

4Press INPUT SELECT so that DV1 or DV2 after sliding DV SELECT switch 1 or 2, is selected.

When performing Audio Dubbing or AV Insert, select A2, A3 or A4.

Notes:

When using a Panasonic Digital Video Camera as the playback unit, the following editing functions can be used by connecting the camera to the NV-DV2000 with just a DV cable:

In this case, simply set INPUT SELECT to DV1 or DV2, and set Edit Terminal to DV.

(This function may not operate properly with some models.)

Use Time codes for Programme Editing when the playback unit is connected to the NV-DV2000 via only a DV cable.

Select the DV SELECT switch setting in accordance with the connected socket.
