SETTING UP MOTION DETECTION RECORDING

The DX4000 can record video based on motion detection so long as a recording schedule has been created. Before you set up motion detection recording, refer to Setting Up a Recording Schedule on page 37 for instructions on setting up a recording schedule.

1. From the main menu, select the Record option, and then select Timer Recording Setup. The Timer Recording Setup menu appears.

2. Navigate to the Motion Detection Setup command, and then press the Enter button. The Motion Detection Setup menu appears.
