Turn on the TV and select the VCR channel 3 or 4 (or AV mode).

1	TURN ON THE VCR
	Press POWER.
2	ACCESS MAIN MENU SCREEN
	Press MENU.
	ACCESS INITIAL SET SCREEN

	At the Main Menu screen, move the highlight bar
	(arrow) to “INITIAL SET” by pressing CH5° or %Þ,
3 then press OK or%.
4	ACCESS CLOCK SET SCREEN
	Move the highlight bar (arrow) at the Initial Set screen
	to “CLOCK SET” by pressing CH5° or %Þ, then press
	OK or%.
	● "GUIDE CHANNEL SET" will appear with HR-A54U
	only.
	SET TIME
	Press CH 5° or %	until	CLOCK SET
	Þ
	the desired time appears,
5 then press OK or%.			TIME	DATE	YEAR

●Press and hold CH 5°

or %Þ to change the D.S.T. : ON time by 30 minutes.

**AUTO DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME

This function enables automatic adjustment of the VCR’s clock at the start and end of Daylight Saving Time. With Auto DST activated, . . .

. . . on the first Sunday of April at 2:00 AM, the clock is adjusted to 3:00 AM.

. . . on the last Sunday of October at 2:00 AM, the clock is adjusted to 1:00 AM.

SET DATE

6 Press CH 5° or %Þ until the desired date appears, then press OK or %.

●Press and hold CH 5° or %Þ to change the date by 15 days.

		SET YEAR
		Press CH 5° or %Þ until the desired year appears,
7 then press OK or %twice.
8		SELECT D.S.T. MODE
		Press CH 5° or %Þ to select the desired mode.
	a– Set to "ON" so that the adjustment to your VCR's
		clock will be made on the clock itself.
	b– Set to "OFF" if Daylight Saving Time does not apply
		to you.
		START CLOCK
9 Press MENU and normal screen appears.

Press OK or			%until the item you want to change blinks, then
press CH 5				or	.
