rewind Press the <button on the Remote Control.

fast forward Press the >button on the Remote Control.

SQPB

This VCR is equipped with SQPB (S-VHS QUASI PLAYBACK) that lets you watch tapes recorded in the S-VHS format and the SP mode, with regular VHS resolution.

NOTES:

¥SQPB does not deliver Super VHS resolution.

¥S-VHS recording is not possible with this VCR.

¥When you play back a tape recorded in S-VHS format and the SP mode, noise may appear in the still, slow motion, or frame-by-frame playback mode.

¥Depending on the tape, noise may appear during normal playback.

Video Heads Cleaning

Use a dry cleaning cassette Ñ JVC TCL-2U Ñ in the following cases:

¥Rough, poor picture appears while a tape is played back.

¥The picture is unclear or no picture appears.

¥ÔUSE CLEANING CASSETTEÕ appears on the screen (only with ÔO.S.D.Õ set to ÔONÕ (☞ pg.Ê44)).
