Select a channel other than channel 205 on your DSS receiver.

At the Custom Set screen, press CHor TIME SCAN to place the arrow next to “DSS

RECEIVER BRAND SET”, then press OK.

The unit is pre-set to code 80 (RCA) when shipped.

NOTES:

Depending on the type of DSS receiver, it is possible that the Controller will not work with it.

If your DSS receiver doesn’t respond to the code, you can’t use the Controller to change satellite channels. In this case, make sure to leave the DSS receiver turned on and tuned to the proper channel before the scheduled start of timer recording.

The VCR can only change the satellite channel through the Controller during timer recording.

If your DSS receiver is one that can’t be operated with a remote control (has no remote sensor), you can’t use the Controller to change its channels. Make sure to leave the DSS receiver turned on and tuned to the proper channel before the scheduled start of timer recording.
