On-Screen

You can directly program the VCR’s timer to record up to 8

shows, as far as a year in advance. Remember, the clock must be

set before you can program the timer (pg. 7 or 9).

You can also use the optional Illumi-Guide feature, where the

relevant buttons on the remote control light to tell you which

button to press next. The Illumi-Guide feature is activated by the

 

 

ILLUMI GUIDE button on the remote control. The Illumi-Guide

 

 

feature is only active when the remote control's TV/CABLE/VCR

switch is set to "VCR". (Illumi-Guide is an optional help feature

which makes programming easier. It is not necessary to use

Illumi-Guide to program the VCR.)
