Normally, a new recording is made on the current location on the disc. This is the same with video cassettes. However, by holding down REC/OTR n , the new recording will be made after the last recording on the disc. This helps you avoid recording by mistake.

New recordings on a DVD+R disc will always be added after the end of all recordings.

The Magnavox DVD recorder can play DVDs and CDs. DVDs made using this DVD recorder can be played in most other DVD players.
