Set the REC MODE key to ON, select the “D.REC LEVEL?” setting adjustment display and vary the setting using the JOG DIAL.

ÖWhen the EDIT / SPACE key is pressed during recording, a track number is inserted in that position.

ÖThe track number display (001 in the above) indicates the track where the unit is put to record-pause mode.

ÖWhen recording is restarted after record-pause, the track number is incremented automatically by “1”.

ÖTo play a track with a margin from the beginning, it is recommended to start playing the source after the time display of the MD recorder has started the count.

During recording of a CD, the track number may be incremented by “1” at the moment the CD starts to play. This is caused by a signal contained in the digital signal component of the CD. Unnecessary track numbers can be erased by following the procedure for “Erasing the

track being played (TRACK ERASE).
