Identification of Controls

Remote Control

Turns the DVB-T VCR/DVD Recorder on and off.

- Opens and closes the disc tray in DVD mode. - Ejects the tape in the VCR deck in VCR mode.

Selects VCR mode.

Selects DVD mode.

Switches between the DVB-T VCR/DVD Recorder tuner or your TV tuner.

- Selects numbered options in menus. - Selects TV channels.

- Manually adjusts tracking.

Displays information on the disc when you press this button once.

Displays DVD navigator when you press this button twice.

Displays a full list of searched channels or favourite list.

Accesses DVD disc menus.

Displays or exits the Setup menu.

Shows TV Guide (EPG : Electronic Programme Guide)

Returns to previous menu (mode)

- œ √…† : Selects menu options.

- CH +/– : Selects channels. - VOL +/– : Adjusts volume.

Confirms menu selections.

Displays information on the current and next programmes on the channel

RED/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUE (Colour Buttons)

: used for selecting interactive applications (Additional Option Selection)

- Starts playback.

- Pauses playback or recording temporarily. Press again to exit Pause mode.

- DVD: Searches backward/forward.

-VCR: Rewinds/advances during Stop mode. Press during Play mode for fast reverse/forward picture search.

Stops playback or recording.

Skips to the next or previous chapter/track.

Starts recording. Press repeatedly to set the recording time. For more details, Refer to One Touch Record (OTR) on page 46.

Increases or decreases the slow motion speed when playing a DVD or VHS tape.
