XD is LG Electronic’s unique picture improving technology to display a real HD source through an advanced digital signal processing algorithm.

When selecting APC options (Clear, Optimum and Soft), XD is automatically changed to Auto.

When selecting APC options (User 1 and User 2), you can choose the Auto / Manual.

When selecting the Manual, you can adjust the XD Contrast, XD color and XD Noise.

It’s not available to use this function in RGB-PC, HDMI-PC mode.

1Press the MENU button and then use D or E button to select the PICTURE menu.

2Press the G button and then use D or E button to select X D.

3Press the G button and then use D or E button to select Auto or Manual.

Selecting the Manual

1.Press the G button and then use D or E button to select XD Contrast, XD Color or XD NR (Noise), MPEG NR.

XD Contrast: Optimizing the contrast auto- matically according to the brightness of the reflection.

XD Color: Adjusting the colors of the reflec- tion automatically to reproduce as closely as possible to the natural colors.

XD NR (Noise) : Removing the noise up to the point where it does not damage the original picture.

MPEG NR : To reduce the picture noise which may appear on the screen during watching the TV.

2.Press the F or G button to select O n or Off.

Press EXIT button to return to TV viewing or press

4MENU button to return to the previous menu.
