Setting parental controls

Note

Parental controls are not available in HDMI or component video mode.

Note

Unless otherwise noted, all tasks in this section are based on using the remote control.

Setting or changing the password

To set up a password:

1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

5Press or to highlight Change PIN, then press ENTER.

6Press the number buttons to enter the new password, press ENTER, then enter the new password again and press ENTER.

7Press RETURN to return to the previous menu or EXIT to close the menu.

Note

If you forget your password, turn off your TV, press

MUTE, 8, 2, 4, then turn your TV back on again.
