Programme Selection

Learn how to change TV channels and how to adjust the volume.

Concerning the function description, we assume that the receiver has been properly connected.

If you wish to connect it yourself, please read chapter 'connection and initiation' first.

Selecting a TV Programme

Reception Status

Below you can learn how to select/call up more programmes and what the screen inserts look like.

Merely press the keys  after you have switched on the receiver to change channels in their ascending or descending order in the pro- gramme memory.

The selected programme with the current time, the videotext icon (if available), the starting and end of the programme and the program- metitle are displayed in screen inserts after every keypress, but merely if this information is broadcast by the programme provider.

By pressing , you can have this information permanently displayed, and you can blank it by pressing the key once more.

If a programme is scrambled, the information 'scrambled programme' is displayed.

Receiving such programmes is not possible with the UFD 574 receiver.
