Setting the System Parameters

System Parameter

Select the menu item 'system parameters' with  and  in the main menu. Call up the further positions with .

Parental Lock

The basic settings which can be made here are described in chapter 'password', parental lock settings.

System Information

'System information' contains unchangeable factory settings intended

only for the servicing staff. Press  to get back to the sub-menu 'system parameters'.

Local Time/Timer

The receiver displays the 'UTC' (United Time Coordinate, formerly Greenwich Meantime), which is transmitted in the data stream. This means that the time has to be corrected by +1 hour for Germany.

If necessary, the daylight savings time has to be corrected so that the timers function duly.

You can correct it yourself with the  keys by the half-hour. Use the -keys to scroll the selection cursor to local time/timer'. Press

twice to confirm your entry. The receiver stores the new setting.

After this setting, do not switch off the receiver with the power switch but with the remote control as otherwise the new settings will be lost.

Daylight Savings Time

You can correct (select) the daylight savings time (yes/no) with the  keys.

TV Type

Use the  keys to set the type of TV set you have, namely either
