Locating Specific Points in Time

DVD VCD CD

With the Time Search function you can locate specific points in time.

Press the [SEARCH] button twice.

The Disc Navigator Search window

appears onscreen, as shown.

Notes:

The Time Search function works only within the currently playing title (DVD-Video) or track (Video CD, audio CD). For example, if the current title is one hour long and you enter the time 1 hour, 30 minutes, nothing will happen.

In some cases, playback may start from a slightly different point to the one you specified.

Time Search may not work with some discs.

You can’t use the [SEARCH] button during random play- back.

Repeat Playback

DVD VCD CD MP3 WMA

With the Repeat Playback function you can play the current disc, title, chapter, track, or folder of MP3/WMA files over- and-over again.

Press the [REPEAT] button repeat-

edly to select a repeat option.

 

 

The currently selected repeat option

 

appears onscreen and “REPEAT” appears

 

on the display.

Remote controller

The available options depend on the cur-

rent disc type, as follows:

DVD-Video:Chapter, Title, 1 Disc, All

 

Disc.

 

Video CD: 1 Disc, All Disc.

 

Audio CD: Track, 1 Disc, All Disc.

 

MP3/WMA: Track, Folder, 1 Disc, All

 

Disc.

Use the number buttons to enter a time.

To enter, for example, 1 hour, 25 minutes, 30 seconds, press the [1], [2], [5], [3], and [0] buttons.

Notes:

Repeat Playback may not work with some DVD-Video

 

discs.

If you press the [REPEAT] button while the Memory Play-

 

back function is on (see page 33), the current memory list

• With PBC Video CDs, you can’t select Repeat Playback. In

 

this case, you need to cancel PBC playback first, and then

 

select Repeat Playback.

You can’t use the repeat functions with Chain mode play-

 

back.

If you select another disc, repeat playback is cancelled.
