Disabling/enabling channel control

This function enables or disables TV and VCR mode controls including Channel Up/Down, Digits 0-9, Last Channel, and Favorite Channel. With this programmable feature, the TV and VCR remains on the correct output channel (either 3 or 4) so that the HCT operates properly.

The channel control in TV and VCR mode is enabled as the factory default.

To disable channel control in TV and VCR modes:

1. Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice.

2. Press 9 9 6 . The red light blinks twice.

3. Press CH ▼. The red light blinks twice.

To enable channel control in TV and VCR modes:

1. Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice.

2. Press 9 9 6 . The red light blinks twice.

3. Press CH ▲. The red light blinks twice.

Note: When TV and VCR channel control is disabled, the cable mode channel control will be available in these modes.
