Programming the macro buttons

The AllTouch Remote Control provides users with three definable macro buttons (A, B, and C), which can be programmed by the cable operator or subscriber. Programming one of the macro buttons enables you to perform several functions by pressing that key such as switching to cable, turning on HCT power, and switching to channel 25.

To program a macro button (A, B, or C):

1. Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice.

2. Press 9 9 5 . The red light blinks twice.

3.Press macro button (A, B, or C).

4.Press one of the mode buttons ( VCR , AUX , TV , or CBL ).

5.Press the function button desired. You may use up to three function buttons.

6.Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice.

Each macro button may have up to three functions with each function having no more than four button presses.

To clear a macro button (A, B, or C):

1. Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice.

2. Press 9 9 5 . The red light blinks twice.

3.Press macro button (A, B, or C).

4.Press and hold SET-UPuntil the red light blinks twice. Write the function of each macro button in the following table.
