Checking Text message reception

If the mobile phone is compatible with Text message, you can read the messages on the screen.

To read a received message, operate the unit or the mobile phone after stopping the car in a safe place.

You cannot edit or send a message through the unit.

When <Message Info> is set to <Auto>...

The unit rings and the following screen is displayed to inform you of a message arrival. ( 52)

Making a call

1Display <Dial Menu>.

You can also display <Dial Menu> by following methods:

Holding SRC on the monitor panel

Pressing [Dial Menu] in the <Bluetooth> menu ( 52)

2Select a calling method, then select the desired item to call.
