16Assembling and Maintaining Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainers: EFX 883 / 833 / 823

Begin installation of all fasteners by hand, then partially tighten them. Do not fully tighten fasteners until instructed to do so.

Important: When wrench-tightening the screws, make sure the head of the fastener is parallel to the product surface. If it is not, stop tightening to avoid cross-threading. To avoid further damage, stop assembly work and contact Customer Support.

Installation Requirements

Prior to assembly, make sure you have the required tools and hardware.

The hardware kit shipped with this equipment contains the fasteners and other hardware components shown in the following table. Before you begin assembly, make sure that your hardware kit is complete. If not, please contact Precor Customer Support.
