Lock Parental

Lock	Disables or enables blocking based on V-Chip signals and the U.S. rating system.
TV Rating	Highlight the rating level you wish to change and press ENTER to
	block it ( ) or allow it ( ).
	You can apply supplemental content blocking to the age-based
	ratings by using the TV content categories. (FV, D, L, S, V)

Start Time/ Stop Time

Highlight the rating level you wish to change and press ENTER to block it () or allow it ( ).

Sets the time of day for enforcement of rating restrictions chosen in the Parental menu. The TV clock must be set in the Setup > Clock menu before you can use Start Time/Stop Time. To make rating restrictions active 24 hours a day, set Start Time and Stop Time the same.

1.Highlight the start time or stop time.

2.Press ENTER to start editing.

3.Press to make changes.

4.Press ENTER to confirm changes.

TV Program Ratings

	TV-Y	Youth. For children under 7.
Ratings
	TV-Y7	Youth 7 and older.
	TV-G	General Audience. For the entire family.
Based-
		some children.
	TV-PG	Parental Guidance. Parental Guidance
		recommended; may not be suitable for
Age
	TV-14	Adolescent 14 and older. Not recommended
TV		for children under 14.
	TV-MA	Mature Audience. For adults only.
Categories	FV	Fantasy Violence. Applies to TV-Y7 only.
	D	Sexual Dialog. Applies in differing
		degrees to TV-PG and TV-14.
	L	Adult Language. Applies in differing
Content		degrees to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA.
	S	Sexual Situations. Applies in differing
		degrees to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA.
TV	V	Violence (graphic or realistic). Applies in dif-
		fering degrees to TV-PG, TV-14, and TV-MA.

GGeneral Audience. Designed for the entire family.

PG	Parental Guidance. Parental Guidance
	recommended; may not be suitable for
	some children.
PG-13	Parental Guidance, 13 and Older. Not
	recommended for children under 13.

RRestricted. Restricted in theaters to 17 years old and older unless accompanied by an adult.

NC-17 No Children 17 or Under. Restricted in theaters to 18 years old and older.

XAdult. Designed for and restricted in theaters to adult audiences only.

Not No MPAA rating assigned.
