Appendix D: Lamp replacement

7 Pull up the handle and remove the lamp cartridge in the direction of the arrow as indicated. See figure 6.

8 Insert the new lamp cartridge securely into the TV body as shown in figure 7.

Replace the metal lamp cover in the direc- tion of the arrow as indicated. See figure 8.

Tighten up the screws (b). See figure 3.

Replace the wooden lamp cover and tighten up the screws (a). See figure 2.

Replace the front cover. See figure 9.

Plug the power cord to the outlet, if neces- sary, and press the power button to power on.

The message “Did you change the lamp? Press 1 for Yes. Press 0 for No.”

Press the number 1 button on the remote control for reset the Lamp Elapsed time.

When you replace the lamp, you must reset the Lamp Elapsed time. The TV’s display will prompt you (see #14 above).

The power will not turn on if the lamp cover is improperly installed.
