VCR Light | Mode Lights |
This light appears when the VCR is in VCR position.
These lights tell you the current operation of the VCR: REC(ord), PLAY, or PAUSE.

TIMER Light
This light appears when a timer recording is programmed or is in progress. Details are on pages 34 - 41. This light blinks rapidly if the VCR is turned off to set a Timer Recording but a tape is not in the VCR.
Cassette-Inside Light
This light appears when a tape is in the VCR. It blinks when a tape is being ejected. This light blinks rapidly if the VCR is turned off to set a Timer Recording but there is not a tape in the VCR.
Sound Program Lights
These lights appear when a stereo or second audio program is available. (ST means a stereo broadcast is available; SAP means a second audio program is available.) You still must set the VCR to receive, record, or play a tape in stereo or second audio. Details are on pages 49 - 51.
These lights are not available on the VRX442.
Line Input Mode Light
When L appears here, the VCR is in Line Input mode. (Select Line Input mode by pressing Number buttons 00. Exit Line Input mode by using the Number buttons or the CHANNEL Up/Down buttons to select another channel.)
