Hi-Fi Stereo Tape Playback (VRX462 only) 51

If a tape is recorded in Hi-Fi stereo, follow the steps below to play the tape in Hi-Fi stereo.

Press the VCR button, then press the MENU button.

Press the Number 2 button to select VCR SET UP.

Press the Number 7 button to select AUDIO OUT.

Press the Number 1 button to select HIFI. (ON) will appear beside HIFI.

Press the EXIT/STATUS button.

Press the MENU button.

Press the Number 3 button to select TUNER SET UP.

Press the Number 6 button to select TV STEREO. (ON) will appear beside TV STEREO.

Helpful Hints

During playback, Hi-Fi stereo may temporarily revert to normal audio when you adjust tracking. This is normal.

If Hi-Fi stereo continually reverts to normal audio during playback, you may want to press the Number 2 button to select MONO at step 4.

Only tapes recorded in Hi-Fi stereo will play in Hi-Fi stereo. Tapes recorded in normal audio will play in normal audio.
