1Batteries

The remote control uses four AA batteries or the rechargeable battery pack supplied with the recharging dock. If you purchased the recharging dock, see “Using the recharging dock” on page 11.

Installing AA batteries

Install four AA batteries as shown.

Slide the battery cover off the back of the remote control.

Insert 4 AA batteries as shown. Improper installation could damage the remote control. When you’re done, slide the battery cover back on. The remote control starts up automatically, and the word “remote control” appears on the display. After a few seconds, the remote control beeps twice to indicate that it’s ready to use.
