Select a source of input

1 Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select CHANNEL INSTALL > INPUT.

3 Press to select a source of input.

Note

•• External inputs can also be assigned to a program number.

Select a logo for a channel

1 Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select CHANNEL INSTALL > CHANNEL LOGO. 3 Press to enter a page containing logos.

4 Press to select a logo for the channel.

5 Press “0” to save the logo and exit the menu.

Map to a digital channel

1 Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select CHANNEL INSTALL > DIGITAL.

3 Press to select YES.

»» Digital channel scroll works only for digital channels that have already been installed ie by Automatic channel install - see section 8.

5 Press to toggle between the available digital channels.

••Select CHANNEL INSTALL > DIGITAL > NO, if the channel is an analog channel.

••DIGITAL CH SCROLL, DIGITAL MAJOR CH, and DIGITAL MINOR CH do not apply to analog channels.

••When you select USE CHANNEL TABLE > NO to use physical channel numbers instead of virtual channel numbers, DIGITAL MAJOR CH is replaced by RF CHANNEL NUMBER and DIGITAL MINOR CH is replaced by MPEG PROGRAM NUMBER on your TV screen.

Assign digital major and minor channels

Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

to select CHANNEL INSTALL > DIGITAL > YES.

to select DIGITAL MAJOR CHANNEL/ RF CHANNEL

NUMBER.

Press 0-9 (Numeric buttons) to enter a channel number between 1

and 999.

Press

to select DIGITAL MINOR CHANNEL/ MPEG PROGRAM

NUMBER.

Press 0-9 (Numeric buttons) to enter a channel number between 0

 

and 32768.

 

Select a preferred list of channels

Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

Press

to select CHANNEL INSTALL > RINGS.

Press

to select a ring number.

»» A flashing red dash appears next to the selected ring.
