Mute a channel

1 Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select CHANNEL INSTALL > MUTE.

3 Press to select one of the following:

AUDIO: To mute the audio in the channel.

VIDEO: To mute the video in the channel.

NONE: To enable audio and video in the channel.

10View signal strength or configure content ratings, closed caption and emergency alerts

1Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select DIGITAL SETUP.

»» Digital setup menu is displayed on your screen.You can configure the content ratings, closed caption and emergency alert settings. SIGNAL STRENGTH displays the signal strength of the selected channel in percentage.

••Philips recommends a signal strength of 80% or higher. If you see a value below this level you may experience signal dropout issues, pixelization, picture freeze etc. To address low signal strength, you should contact your installer.

Setup digital channels

1 Enter the Philips Hospitality setup menu.

2 Press to select DIGITAL SETUP > CHANNEL SETUP. Select one of the following options:

V-CHIP DIGITAL RATING: To enable or disable the content ratings for movies, TV programs and data as per the VCHIP standard. For more information, visit www.fcc.gov/vchip.

CLEAR ALL RATINGS: To clear all the ratings.

US MOVIE RATING: To enable or disable the movie ratings.

US TV RATING: To enable or disable the TV ratings.

D. RATING: To configure the downloadable (RRT-5) rating.

FACTORY CH RESET: To clear the digital channel map.

Note

••If you select FACTORY CH RESET, you need to re-install the channels.

3 Press to select and configure options such as CAPTION SIZE, CAPTION STYLE, TEXT COLOR, BG COLOR, etc.
