Your vehicle has been preset at the factory for use as a battery powered vehicle. Simply attach your vehicle to its stationary base for use as an exciting kiddie ride. (See Attaching Your Vehicle to the Base on page 21.)

Note: The rear wheels will push out slightly when the vehi- cle is properly attached to the base.

Make sure the footrests are in the lowered position.

Seat your child on the vehicle, with both hands on the handgrips and both feet on the footrests.

Press the handlebar button for some rocking fun!

When detached from the base, your Rock & Roll is ready for freewheeling or motorized driving use. (See Removing Your Vehicle from the Base on page 22.). Select the free- wheeling mode for some freewheeling fun:

Remove the seat.

Set the selector lever in the compartment under the seat to the FREEWHEEL position. To switch the selector lever from MOTORIZED to FREEWHEEL, bend the tab on the motor cover toward the front of the vehicle and switch the selector lever.

Re-assemble the seat.

Make sure the footrests are in the raised position.

Seat your child on the vehicle with both hands on the handgrips and watch your child go!

Helpful Hint: Remember to set the selector lever back to the MOTORIZED position whenever you re-attach the vehicle to the base for use as a battery powered kiddie ride.
