Emergency Actions
In certain circumstances, it may be necessary to reinstate the Factory Default settings for your AXIS 2130. This is performed in one of two ways:
•By clicking the Factory Default button on the General Settings admin page. This will reset most of the unit’s parameters but will save the IP address, the Subnet mask, the Default Router and the Mac (Ethernet) address.
•By pressing the Reset Button, located on the underside of the unit. This option will reset ALL the parameters currently configured in the unit. To reset the unit using the reset button, please see Reinstating the Factory Default Settings, on page 20.
Network Settings
Click the Network Settings button to display, edit and refine the settings for:
•TCP/IP - used by the camera for transmitting data over the network.
•DNS (Domain Name System) - the network service used by the product for translating domain names into IP addresses.
•SMTP
•Miscellaneous - set the network media and to restrict the bandwidth used by the product. Configure the Network Settings with reference to the
