Product Description

Read the following information to familiarize yourself with the AXIS 2130/2130R, making particular note of where the connectors and indicators are located.

Front

Rear Panel

Power Supply Connector

A single Jack socket for connection of the AXIS 2130/2130R power supply (Canon K30120).

Power Indicator

The power indicator flashes green during power-up and shows a steady green during normal operation.

I/O Terminal Block

The I/O Terminal Block connector provides the physical interface to one relay switch output and one digital opto-coupled input. This connector is used for receiving external triggers and for controlling output devices.

Network Connector

The AXIS 2130/2130R is designed for 10 Mbps Ethernet and 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet networks and connects to the net- work via a standard RJ45 connector. Supporting NWAY, the AXIS 2130/2130R detects the speed of the local network segment and varies the speed of data communication accordingly (between 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps).

Network Indicator

After completion of the startup and self test routines, the multi-colored Network Indicator provides the following indications:

flashing yellow - indicates activity on a 10Mbps Ethernet network

flashing green - indicates activity on a 100Mbps Fast Ethernet network

steady orange - disconnected from the network.
