7 Installing the Software

NOTE: To install software on computers running Windows 2000, Windows XP Pro operating systems, or Mac OS X, you need administrator privileges. See your computer user’s guide.

!Personal computer running Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, or XP operating systems

!233 MHz processor or greater (300 MHz recommended for Windows 2000 and XP operating systems)

!64 MB of available RAM (128 MB recommended)

!100 MB of available hard disk space

!CD-ROM drive

!Built-in USB port

!Color monitor with a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 pixels; High Color (16-bit) or True Color (24-bit) (recommended)

!Internet access for online printing and emailing
