Installing the software

CAUTION:

Install EasySharesoftware before connecting the camera to the

computer. Failure to do so may causethe software to load incorrectly.

1Closeall softwareapplicationsthat areopen onyour computer(including anti-virussoftware).

2Placethe EasySharesoftwareCDinto the CD-ROMdrive.

3Loadthe software:

Windows OS--if the installwindow doesnot appear,chooseRunfrom the Start menuandtype d:\setup.exe whered is the driveletter that containsthe CD.

Mac OSX--double-click the CDiconon the desktop,then click the Installicon. Followthe on-screeninstructionsto installthe software.

Windows OS--select Completeto automaticallyinstallthe most commonlyused applications,or Customto choosethe onesyou wishto install.

Mac OS X--follow the on-screeninstructions.

If prompted,restartthe computer.If you turnedoff anti-virussoftware,turn it back on. Seethe anti-virussoftwaremanualfor details.

Forinformationon the softwareapplicationsincludedon the EasySharesoftwareCD, clickthe Helpbutton in EasySharesoftware.
