CAMERA AUTO Feature

The camcorder will automatically control the white balance, focus, and set the shutter speed to 1/60 second when you place the CAMERA/VCR switch in the CAMERA AUTO position.

To control white balance, select a higher shutter speed, or focus manually, place CAMERA/VCR switch in CAMERA MAN.

Record Review

Press REVIEW to review the last few seconds of a recording. The CAMERA/VCR switch must be in CAMERA and the camcorder in record pause.

The camcorder will play back the last few seconds of the recording, return the tape to its previous position, and return to record pause.

Microphone

The microphone picks up sound (audio) during recording. It is more sensitive to sounds coming from the direction the lens is pointed.

Flying Erase Head

A separate erase head is mounted on the spinning headwheel (hence the term “flying”). This flying erase head allows you to make clean edits without “glitches” or “rainbow noise”.
