2. Attach the adapter/charger.

Since the battery must be charged before it can be used the first time, attach the adapter/charger to the camcorder.

•Attach one end of DC cable to DC IN 12V jack on side of camcorder.

•Attach the other end of DC cable to DC OUT 12V 2A jack on AC adapter/charger.

•Plug the adapter/charger into the nearest AC outlet (100-240V, 50/60 Hz).

The POWER indicator on the adapter/charger will light.
