Titler

The titler can create and store two different titles. Each title can contain two lines with a total of 32 characters – 16 on each line. The built-in character register contains 47 different characters for creating titles.

TITLE Button

Creating a Title

1.Attach a power source, turn on the camcorder, and place the CAMERA/ VCR switch in CAMERA.

2.Press TITLE to display the title page graphics in the viewfinder.

3.Press TITLE SELECT to display the other title page in the viewfinder.

4.Press EDIT ADV. to move the flashing cursor to the place you want to begin your title.

5.Select the first character for your title by pressing TITLE SELECT + or until the character you want appears.

See the “Chart of Characters” for the characters available in the titler’s register.

6.After you have selected the first character, press EDIT ADV. to move the flashing cursor to the next position you want a character to appear.

If a blank space is desired, press EDIT ADV. without selecting a character.

7.Repeat steps 4 – 6 until you have completed the title.

Press TITLE SELECT if you want to create a title on the other title page.

8.Press TITLE to remove the title from the viewfinder and store it in memory.

Notes: The clock battery cell must be installed to store the title.

Remove the title from the viewfinder for normal recording.
