1 Choose the film type

Click the film-type menu in the scan win- dow control area and choose a film type that matches the film being scanned.

Use with most makes of posi- tive slides and reversal film.

These films have a black base,

Use with color negatives. Col- or negatives can be identified by their orange-tinted base and by the fact that the colors in the images are reversed.

window control area and choose a color
model according to how the image will
be used.

3 Select the frame size (medium-format film only) When scanning medium-format (120/220
