Switching the time display

Each time the SYMBOL/TIME button on the remote control is pressed during play- back, the display will change.

The elapsed playing time for the current track will be displayed.

The remaining playing time for the current track will be displayed.

The total remaining playing time for the disc will be displayed.

Switching the display during MD playback

Each time the DISPLAY (DEMO) button on the main unit or the DISPLAY/CHARAC- TER button on the remote control is pressed during MD playback, the display will change.

The elapsed playing time for the current track will be displayed.

The track name will be displayed.

“NO NAME” is displayed if the track is not named.

The level meter is displayed.

Tracks recorded in monaural is indicated as “M”.

Remaining recording time is displayed.

Notes:

When the level meter is displayed, it remains unchanged during playback.

It returns to normal when the disc is removed.

The remaining recording time is not displayed for playback-only MD.

Notes:

During random play, the total remaining playing time will not be displayed.

Depending on the CD or MiniDisc, the playing time display may not match the total playing time which is indicated on the CD or MiniDisc jacket, as the time between tracks is not included.
