1.The FieldView Device
The FieldView system provides mobile
This manual describes the FieldView Device. An Operator at a remote site uses the FieldView Device to communicate with a Client user over a network.
The FieldView Device allows both the Operator and the Client user to:
• Converse just as they would on a mobile telephone.
• View and listen to streaming audio/video output in real time.
• Stream audio and video recordings to the FieldView Device in real time.

•Record and play back video.
•Adjust the controls (e.g., zoom, focus, draw on the screen).
The FieldView Device allows technical experts and remote operators to jointly view, consult,
diagnose and resolve issues by sendingFieldView Device
through streaming multimedia from the onsite FieldView Device to a FieldView Application on an office workstation.

This guide describes how to use the FieldView Device on a system that has already been set up and configured. For information on FieldView Device configuration, maintenance and network or other infrastructure setup, please consult the FieldView System Administration Manual. For information on the FieldView Application software client application, consult the FieldView Application User Guide.
