Setup card operations

The operations for saving setting data on the setup card and loading the saved data from the card are performed on the CAM CARD READ/WRITE screen

of CAM MAIN MENU 3.

Formatting the setup card

1 Perform the menu operations (pages 72 to 74), and display the “CAM CARD READ/WRITE” screen.

2 Turn the JOG dial button to move the arrow (cursor) to the CARD CONFIG item.

3 When the JOG dial button is pressed, the following message appears on the screen.

4 To proceed with the formatting of the setup card, turn the JOG dial button to move the arrow (cursor) to YES, and press the JOG dial button. When the formatting of the card is completed, the following message appears.

<Note>

When the card is formatted, the settings statuses applying at the time are also saved in the memory.

If one of the following messages appears when the JOG dial button is pressed, the card will not be formatted.

Error message		Remedial action
CONFIG NG		Insert the card.
NO CARD
(setup card has not been
inserted)
CONFIG NG		The card may be defective.
ERROR		Replace it.
(the card cannot be formatted)
5 Press the MENU button	to exit the menu
operations.

The setting menu is cleared, and the display showing the unit’s current statuses appears at the top and bottom of the viewfinder screen.
