This car stereo is equipped with a
For the clock to function properly with RDS, an RDS station with the CT function (CT – clock time) must be received.
The automatic correction of the time can be switched off.
Setting the clock
a)automatically
The clock is set automatically when the radio is tuned into an RDS station which has the “CT” function (clock time).
b)manually with DSC-CLOCKSET
•Press DSC briefly, “CLOCKSET” will appear in the display.
•Press << >> to set the hours/min- utes. You can move to a different po- sition by pressing /.
•After you have set the clock, press ENT briefly to store the new setting.
Displaying the clock
You can set the clock to permanent display in both the radio and CD modes.
Radio mode:
You can switch between clock display and waveband (incl. memory bank for FM). To do so
•press DIS for approx. 2 seconds. CD mode:
You can select from among three different display modes:
-Track number, clock
-Track number, playback time elapsed
-CD name, track number
To switch between the modes
•press DIS briefly.
Correcting the clock after the power has been disconnected
If the radio has been disconnected from its power source for a longer period of time, “0:00” will appear in the display when it is
The time will be set automatically by RDS- CT, but can also be adjusted manually if desired.
You need only set the time manually if it is not possible to receive an RDS station with CT (clock time).
If you want to set the time manually, refer to the section on “DSC programming - CLOCK- SET”.
Deactivating the hour correction function
In the DSC menu it is possible to switch off the hour correction function with “CLK MAN/ CLK AUTO”. An automatic correction for minutes will continue to take place.
This is useful if you would like to display the time for a different time zone, for example.
If necessary,
•Press DSC briefly and
•Press / as often as required until “CLK MAN/CLK AUTO” appears in the display.
To deactivate the hour correction function press << >> to select “CLK MAN”.
