(2)Press BAND/TEL. to select the left (front and rear) speakers. Then turn the Rotary encoder to select 1.5 ms (Delay no. 15 in the table). The time difference is 3.0 ms*2 for the front left speaker, and 1.5ms for the left rear speaker, creating the impression of an equal listening between the front left speaker and the other speakers.

4 To set another channel (speakers), repeat steps 2 and 3.

5 After setting, press and hold T.CORR/X-OVER for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode.

Any manual time correction adjustments will also affect corrections made in Bass Focus.

Bass Focus mode is automatically canceled if no operation is performed within 15 seconds.

Example setting for steps 2 and 3

(1)Press BAND/TEL. to select the front (left and right) speakers. Then turn the Rotary encoder to select 1.5 ms (Delay no. 15 in the table). The time difference is 1.5 ms for both front (left and right speakers.

*1 Subwoofer speaker. CDA-9811 only

Delay (turn the rotary encoder) the audio signal to the front (left and right) speakers to make the apparent position of the subwoofer to be at the front. In doing this, the apparent position between the front (left and right) speakers and subwoofer will appear equal to the driver. After performing the above, you can change the positions of the left and right speakers by delaying the time .

*2 Because the time difference was already set to 1.5 ms for the front left speaker to begin with, the additional correction of 1.5 ms makes the total time difference of the front left speaker 3.0 ms.
