7. INSTALLING OPENHAND
7.1 Obtaining OpenHand client software
The OpenHand software can be found in a number of places.
Most usually OpenHand will be provided on the server install disk provided on first purchase of the software. Alternatively, if you have a support agreement, it can be downloaded directly from www.openhand.info .
For branded versions of the product, please contact your IT manager who will possess the master copy of the software.
7.2 Installing OpenHand
OpenHand can be installed using a number of methods.
1.Direct download from the OpenHand web site
2.Bluetooth
3.Infra Red
4.Sync Station
Please see the manufacturers instruction manual to find the most appropriate method for your handset. (Not all handsets are Infra Red enabled)
Once OpenHand is transferred to the handset, using either Bluetooth or Infra Red, the following message will be displayed:

Note: When prompted to reset OpenHand settings and local data, select or deselect the relevant box(es) by using the middle navigation button (press in to select, up/down to move between settings).
Resetting these settings will delete any old OpenHand information that has been saved locally from a previous version.
