Networks

This menu allows you to configure network preferences.

From the Settings menu select the Networks menu and [Select]. Choose Preferred to view all the pre-registered networks.

Choose Selection to activate (automatically or manually) one of the networks accessible in the area in which your are located.

Choose GPRS to select the way you want to be attached on the GPRS network: always, or only when needed (when launching a data connection) (depending on model).

Contrast

This menu is used to adjust screen contrast.

From the Settings menu select the Contrast menu and [Select].

A test screen allows you to adjust the contrast by means of the down / up T S keys and [OK].

Energy saving

This menu is used to select power saving when the phone is in standby mode.

To quit the standby mode, press the Start key .

From the Settings menu select the Energy saving menu and [Select].

There are three options:

-Standard: time and network information are displayed.

-Economy: a black screen is displayed (mode using few power consumption).

-Screensaver: the screensaver selected in the Background menu is displayed (mode using more power consumption).

Then set the display time for the option selected.

Short cuts

Depending on model, only one programmable key is available.

From the Settings menu select the Short cuts menu and [Select].

Select the key that you wish to modify and [OK].

Choose the function that you want to allocate to this key and [OK].
