Connecting Other Equipment

You can connect ordinary audio equipment as well as audio- visual equipment. When connecting VCR, you can record Video CDs program easily.

When you connect and use this equipment, refer also to its manual.

Be sure that the plugs of the audio- and video cords are color coded: White plugs and jacks are for left audio signals, red ones for right audio signals, and yellow one for video signal.

• DO NOT connect any equipment while the power is on.

DO NOT plug in any equipment until all connections are complete.

Connect the audio output jacks on the other equipment and the AUX IN jacks on the rear, the audio input jacks on the other equipment and AUX OUT jacks on the rear, as well as the video input jacks and the VIDEO OUT jack on the rear, using an audio and/or video cords.

Adjusting the Voltage Selector

Before plugging in the unit, set the correct voltage for your area with the voltage selector on the rear of the unit.

• DO NOT plug in before setting the voltage selector on the rear of the unit and all connection procedures are complete.

Voltage mark

Use a screwdriver to rotate the voltage selector so the voltage number the voltage mark is pointing at is the same as the voltage where you are plugging in the unit.

NOW, you can plug in the unit and other connected equipment FINALLY!
