Number Keypad

The number keypad has several functions depending on what is connected to the equipment.

Table 7. Connections

Connection	Description

Computer	If a computer is attached to the CSAFE connection
(CSAFE	on the equipment, the number keypad lets you
compatible)	enter your user ID and answer other setup
	prompts.

Entertainment	If an entertainment option is connected to the
Option	display, the number keypad acts as a remote
	control which you use to select the available
	channels. You can also enter number values in
	answer to exercise session prompts.

Unconnected	Whether or not peripheral devices are attached to
	the equipment, the keypad lets you enter number
	values in answer to exercise session prompts. You
	need to press ENTER or OK to confirm the
	selection.
