Assembling and Maintaining the UBK 615 Upright Exercise Bike

Unpacking the Equipment

The shipping container for this exercise bike consists of the following items:

Wooden pallet

Cardboard base

Cardboard cover

Foam spacers

WARNING Do not attempt to move the equipment off of the pallet by yourself. Have at least one other person help you during this procedure, and use safe lifting techniques.

To unpack the bike:

1.Cut the plastic straps securing the cover to the cardboard base.

2.Lift the cover upward and set it aside.

3.Remove the plastic tape securing the loose parts in the recesses of the foam spacers.

4.Remove the loose parts and set them down near the spot where you plan to install the equipment.

5.While your assistant holds up the front end of the body assembly, pull the front foam spacer away from it. Repeat this step at the back of the body assembly, then set both spacers aside.

6.With the help of your assistant, lift the body assembly and move it to the location where you plan to install it.

7.Place the body assembly upright on the floor and remove its plastic wrap. Keep it supported until you add the feet and stabilizers later in this manual.
